HOSA Fundraiser
HOSA Fundraiser
Lumpkin County HOSA and SkillsUSA is having a fundraiser to help with the cost of going to compete at State and Nationals. They will be selling Boston butts for $25 each. These will be smoked and ready March 9th and can be picked up between 11am and 2pm that day. If you have any question please feel free to contact Amber Gilleland @ amber.gilleland@lumpkinschools.com

Disney’s BEAUTY & THE BEAST
April 26, 27th and 28th at 7 PM
April 28th at 1 PM
April 29th at 3 PM

Based on the 1991 Disney classic and dating back to a late 18th-century classic French fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast tells the story of Belle ,a bright, beautiful and independent young woman, is taken prisoner by a beast in its castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the beast's hideous exterior, allowing her to recognize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides on the inside. Come watch this beautiful tale as old time come to life on stage at Lumpkin County High School!

    HOSA Dominates!
    Congratulations to the following HOSA students that placed in the top 15 at state competition.
    1st place Clinical Nursing Rachel Gaston
    3rd place Physical Therapy Emma Carlisle
    4th place Medical Assisting Anzley Loggins
    7th place CPR/First Aid Holly Foster and Kat Cunningham
    7th place EMT McKinley Johnson and Harrison Spivey
    12th place Medical Assisting Matthew Tolbert
    Ally Burtz received a $500 scholarship.

    We also had 3 students place in the top 10% on a Healthcare Issues Exam, this advances them to Nationals- Madison McKinney, Anna Cronan, and Sky Hancock.

Students who place in the top two will advance to the Skills USA state competition in Atlanta in March.
