International Thespian Society Troupe #5111

Lumpkin County High School has an active Thespian troupe of approximately 40 members. We were constituted 8 years ago. We attend the state Thespian conference each year, and have had several students appear in the Opening Number ceremony. We have an active board of officers and meet as an entire club monthly. We hold an induction ceremony in September of each year and an awards banquet in May.

Students earn points toward membership by working on plays. Once a student has earned sufficient points for membership, he or she will be contacted and invited to join. Students may obtain higher rank within the organization to obtain Honor Thespian status. Senior Honor Thespians are awarded graduation honor cords. For further information concerning Thespian dates and performances consult the calendar link under the sponsor's name

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
