The Lumpkin County Health Department will be coming out the school on November 7th to offer flu vaccinations for students.  The is no cost for the students to be vaccinated.  If they are covered under a private insurance plan or a Medicaid or Peachcare plan, they will bill the insurance.  Students who are not covered by insurance or have a plan that cannot be billed will receive state supplied vaccine at NO COST to them.  (As vaccine supply allows)

Students will be receiving paperwork to complete, and you can access the documents HERE. Students MUST have completed paperwork to receive the flu vaccine.

*The School Based Flu Program is a Georgia Department of Public Health initiative in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education.  The mission is to prevent and control seasonal influenza by providing immunization to school-aged children in a school-based setting.  We look forward to providing this service for you this year and thank you for your assistance.
