Dahlonega, GA — The Lumpkin County High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter has once again demonstrated excellence, finishing 8th in the state at the 2025 FBLA State Leadership Conference—marking their seventh consecutive top 10 finish.
The chapter had five students place in the top 10 in Digital Video Production (Jackson Boling; Jack Fox; Seth Thomas), Electronic Career Portfolio (Bricen Popko), and Hospitality & Event Management (Breana Donahue), showcasing their dedication, professionalism, and business knowledge on a highly competitive stage.
Adding to the celebration, Chapter President Jaedyn Gerrells has qualified for FBLA Nationals, where she will represent Lumpkin County in the prestigious Who's Who in FBLA competition.
In a standout moment for the program, FBLA Adviser Amy Lincoln was honored as the 2025 Georgia FBLA State Adviser of the Year, recognizing her outstanding leadership and continued commitment to student success. She will also be honored at next month's local board meeting.
“These achievements are a testament to the hard work of our students and the incredible support and guidance from Mrs. Lincoln,” said Lumpkin County High School Principal Brian Matthews. “We’re proud of our FBLA chapter for continuing a tradition of excellence.”
The FBLA National Leadership Conference will take place this summer in Anaheim, California, where Jaedyn Gerrells will compete alongside top students from across the nation.
