Beta Club and National Honor Society
Beta Club is a national honor society that students are invited to be a part of starting in sophomore year. Beta Club is focused on individual leadership, character, and service to the school and local community. Students must have a 90 or above GPA at the end of the year and demonstrate a positive behavior, attendance, and character record.
National Honor Society is a highly recognized national honor society that recognizes students who have achieved the highest levels of academic achievement in their junior and senior years. The purpose of this organization is to create create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. Students with a 93 and above GPA are invited to join NHS as juniors and seniors.
Members of Beta and NHS participate together in service projects at school and in the community throughout the year. Meetings are organized by officers to be held once per month before school - members receive meeting notifications and service project opportunities through the member Google Classroom.
