The PROBE College Tour and Fair is coming to LCHS!
There will be 50+ colleges attending and it is a wonderful opportunity to look at possible career and different options for life after high school. The College Fair will be Thurs. October 16 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am in the gym.
Students: You MUST pre-register ahead of time for teachers to allow you to attend.

LCHS JROTC Raiders competed in the annual Tomahawk Challenge. The event was attended by 24 schools that brought 53 teams, bringing over 500 athletes and hundreds more family coaches and spectators to our community. The Lumpkin County High School’s mixed (male and female) placed First in 4 out of 6 events Second in one event, and Fourth in yet another event. The team ultimately took 1st place overall in the mixed category. GO INDIANS!

🌟 Lumpkin County CTSO Leaders Shine at UNG! 🌟
On Wednesday, 9/10, officers from DECA, FCCLA, FBLA, FFA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA represented Lumpkin County High School at the CTSO Leadership Summit at UNG. They collaborated with student leaders from across North Georgia on recruiting, fundraising, and philanthropy.
FBLA officer Emma Gilreath brought back one exciting idea — a CTSO Ice Cream Social! 🍦 Paid members can grab free ice cream during all 4 lunch tracks on Wednesday, 9/24.

Lumpkin County cross country had a great meet at the UNG Gainesville Campus at the UNG XC Invitational. They raced 14 other teams and the boys placed 1st, Girls placed 2nd overall. Leading the boys was Witt Windham in 1st, Evan Good in 11th and Pauo Ramirez in 15th. On the girl's team we had Keli George leading the charge with a 4th place finish, Joanie Phillabaum 8th and Blakely Bell coming in 11th. They will run Wingfoot in Cartersville, GA next Saturday.
