Blackburn was honored today by a visit from State School Superintendent, Richard Woods. He came to present the Math Leader Banner to our school for the amazing growth we had last year in math. This growth is determined by our Georgia Milestones math scores and we want to congratulate our teachers for the wonderful job they are doing teaching math to our students.
Congratulations to Jennifer Wimpy, Amanda Warren, and Stacey Johnson for being chosen as the BES Extra Mile employees for March 2025. This award goes to certified and classified employees each month that do way more than their job description entails to support students and staff. Congrats to these three incredible employees.
