Please congratulate Jaedyn Gerrells! She was named to FBLA Who's Who for our Region and was selected as one of the top 8 to progress to compete for GA FBLA State Who's Who winner to advance to FBLA Nationals! ALL Who's Who in Georgia FBLA nominees will not only receive a ribbon but will also be invited to a special invite-only member experience where they will receive an opportunity to create a special SLC souvenir.
Finally, she has been selected for Region 8 to interview for the Russell Mercer Who's Who in FBLA Scholarship. Good Luck, Jaedyn!

Senior soccer players nominated the educator who had the greatest impact in their life at Honor's Educator Night for Soccer.
Ms. Hunt's Spanish class made masks specifically inspired by The Dominican Republic’s carnival!
Teaching as a Profession students traveled to Union County High School to attend the Future Educators Literacy Conference. Students attended several breakouts led by literacy experts across a variety of topics.
Mrs. Mullins’s AP Literature class finished up their study of “Frankenstein” with a fun activity: creating their own monsters!
Lumpkin County High School Track represented the school well at the Gilmer Track Meet. The boys and girls teams placed 1st against Gilmer, Pickens, and Dawson High Schools!
Mrs. Zdroba’s class celebrated Carnaval today with fun activities.

These students interviewed last weekend for the GHP summer residential program that brings together sophomores and juniors from across the state in various academic and artistic fields and will hear back soon if they have been selected for this prestigious program!
