LCHS is proud to share the completion of an Eagle Scout Project for our own senior, Hailey Roberts! 🦅
With the support of Scouts from Cumming Troops 5078 & 78 and Dahlonega Troop 303, they worked together to plan, build, and assemble 32 tabletop easels along with a custom cart. This project challenged Hailey to grow in leadership, communication, and project management.
Hailey reports, "I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this possible."
Even more exciting… this April, she will become the first female Eagle Scout from Lumpkin County! 💙

Cadets from the Lumpkin County Army JROTC program recently completed a heartwarming service-learning project designed to foster community engagement and intergenerational connection. The cadets built and delivered bird feeders to residents at the Dahlonega Assisted Living Facility, aiming to brighten the days of elderly residents.
This project was part of the JROTC’s curriculum, which emphasizes community service, leadership development, and civic responsibility.
The cadets began by brainstorming ways to support local seniors, particularly those with limited mobility and few visitors. This project allowed us to take the skills we learn in the classroom—planning, teamwork, and service—and apply them to something that makes a real difference. We are proud of our Cadets and their dedication to the Lumpkin County community!
