With just 12 days left in this semester, it is a good time to review your grades prior to EOCs and final exams. This might be a good time to consider attending Learning Lab after school to either bring up your class grades or get that extra one-on-one instruction you might need to close learning gaps.
Learning Lab is open every day after school until 4:00 pm. We offer bus transportation for all who need it.

Lumpkin Youth Leadership completed their 2019 service project today. Students focused on teamwork

As Thanksgiving week comes to a close, I find myself thinking about the table of food, festive fellowship, and good conversation enjoyed by so many yesterday at LCHS. Our first ever Grateful Gathering was only possible by the generous contributions from so many of our business partners and sponsors! Many thanks to: Superman Tree Service, Glenda Pender, Steve Leibel, United Community Bank, Walmart Community Grants, Banks Septic (The Gravitt Family), The Torch of Dahlonega, RefrigiWear, and Plant it Earth (The Melanson Family). We are very THANKFUL for each of you and wish you all the happiest of holidays!

Lumpkin County High School’s Grateful Gathering was truly a day full of fun, fellowship, and delicious food! We had 237 people join us over the course of the two hours. We sent an additional 60 to-go plates out the door to various places, and we took all the leftovers to the LC Sheriff’s Office. We had the superintendent, associate superintendent, all four high school administrators, and countless others serving today! What an amazing #TR1BE! Happy Thanksgiving from LCHS!

The Grateful Gathering bounce houses have been tested and approved for “kids” of all ages! We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow from 11AM-1PM. Remember, this is free for anyone who wants to join us!

Another day of preparations in the books! We are all ready for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving feast at LCHS! No need to RSVP; just show up from 11 AM-1 PM.

School may be out, but Mr. Kirk had a team of individuals beginning the Thanksgiving Meal preparations at LCHS. If you have not made plans and would like to enjoy a bountiful meal on Thursday, please consider bringing your loved ones to LCHS from 11-1. We would love to share our table with you!
RSVP to Jason Lemley.

Lumpkin County FFA had another great weekend showing livestock today! They walked away with the superior chapter award at the AG Georgia Farm Credit Show today. Way to go, LC FFA!
