
Mrs. Lincoln’s classes attended the Building Ethical Employability conference at UNG. Students learned about what their personality says about them in regards to their potential employability. Students learned about and practiced effective communication and critical thinking strategies. Students became aware of their unofficial resume on social media and how to keep a positive image on the net.

Lumpkin County AgEd and FFA had a great showing at this weekend’s Georgia National Fair. With more than 20 heifers and steers, LC was well represented. Thank you, Mr. Bridges, Mr. Murray, Mr. Sapough and all the parents for your hard work! #TR1BE





Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the FOURTH Habitat for Humanity house built by our students on the LCHS campus. Construction is already underway, and we look forward to seeing this fourth house finished and moved to Habitat Lane in June 2020!

CONGRATULATIONS to our September Employee of the Month: Sarah Vincze. Her positive attitude is infectious each day!


CONGRATULATIONS to our September Teacher of the Month: Radford Windham! He has done an incredible job setting up our new Music Technology and Guitar Techniques pathways! We are so thankful that he is able to teach these courses with passion and purpose at LCHS this school year!

Today LCHS Spanish classes have enjoyed the Latin Music Cultural program at Georgia Tech!

Hats off to our Environmental Awareness Club for recycling 918 bottles yesterday! Over the past 3 weeks, they have kept 1,495 bottles out of our local landfill.

LCHS Theatre students attended "The Ugly Duckling" at Gainesville Theatre Alliance this morning! They were super excited to see 2019 LCHS Graduate, Halli Rider in her first college main stage show.

Today 60 Healthcare and Anatomy students visited the Bodies Exhibit in Atlanta.


Today we collectively celebrated our Graduation Rate from the 2018-2019 school year. More than 95.5% of our senior class walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. Today, our entire student body celebrated that success and made a pledge to graduate with their class.
