Lumpkin County Middle School Cross Country had a great day at the Fannin County Hero Run. The boys team finished as the 2023 Champions while the girls came in 2nd! We had 4 Top 7 runners for the boys team and 3 for the girls! Go Indians!!!

6th grade STEAM students made “flinkers” to investigate neutral buoyancy while learning how astronauts train for spacewalks at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL).
Students in Mr Flanagan's Social Studies classes employ the PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Strategy) method to learn. Students read with a partner with each partner reading the whole article out loud while their partners provide support.

Today in 8th grade math students took turns volunteering to teach the lesson. Student drew a card at random from a bucket and then taught the class the concept of algebraic expressions. Classes competed against one another to answer the most questions 💛💜
