400 building started their day with yummy pancakes hand made by our awesome teachers!
Social Studies students working hard to create models of wattle and daub structures. The Mississippian Indians built these homes using a mixture of woven wooden stakes (wattle) plastered with clay and mud (daub) for the walls.

8th graders reviewed 10 different angle relationships, created by parallel lines, in an outdoor activity. Students did excellent!

7th grade science teachers have something cool they’ve been prepping for: a massive collaborative project with Pike County schools to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Stay tuned for more awesome learning experiences in this project!
In the mornings, prior to homeroom starting at 7:45, Dr. Davis warms up our minds with creative team building challenges. The past few mornings students have worked in creating origami art. They had to design, build and title their artworks. I love seeing all the different things they designed and came up with!

Throughout the week students have a chance to earn raffle tickets for work completed in math. Raffle tickets are drawn on Fridays for tacky prizes. We play with the rules of white elephant where a prize can be stolen. Although the prizes aren’t grand, the laughs are and makes it worth the win!! 🥇
Our Kindness Club shared positive messages on the sidewalk, what a great way to kick off our Friday morning!
