It might be summertime, but we are already gearing up for the 2021-2022 school year! Join us at the Board of Education office on Wednesday, June 23rd at 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM for our Stakeholder Feedback Federal Programs and Proportionate Share of Federal Funds meetings. We want to hear from our parents and get your input on these district and school level plans for next school year. We are #BetterTogether, and your input and feedback is valued in the LC TR1BE!

Well done Cooking and Crafts Club who sewed, stuffed, and fluffed fifty bears for the charity Dolls of Hope! They chose to donate half of their bears locally in support of the high school bunk bed project. We know each bear was made with love.

Congratulations to Odyssey of the Mind! They placed second at Virtual State Finals, and are competing in the Virtual World Finals. Pictured are Sierra Phipps, Nolan Bruner, and Lindsey Greene. Missing is Kai Garner.

Congratulations to our First Lego League team. They are TN Valley/ North GA Region Champions and won the Robot Performance Award.

We had a wonderful time hosting our upcoming 6th Graders last week. Students toured our campus, met some of our staff, received information about our set up, and practiced opening a locker all in preparation for transition to Middle School. Parents/Guardians, be on the lookout for the Rising 6th Grade packet. This has significant information about department leads/who to contact, connection courses, clubs/sports information & more!

6th and 7th graders enjoyed celebrating Earth Day by planting loofahs
and making s’mores in solar ovens.
