We had a wonderful time hosting our upcoming 6th Graders last week. Students toured our campus, met some of our staff, received information about our set up, and practiced opening a locker all in preparation for transition to Middle School. Parents/Guardians, be on the lookout for the Rising 6th Grade packet. This has significant information about department leads/who to contact, connection courses, clubs/sports information & more!

6th and 7th graders enjoyed celebrating Earth Day by planting loofahs
and making s’mores in solar ovens.

Grade 6 PE and Weight Training have been combining classes and focusing on strength and speed. Our kids have been working really hard and we are proud of them!

Last week, Mrs. Gossett's 6th-grade Virtual students joined the rest of the 6th-grade students in a food lab. They modeled the movement of tectonic plates using frosting and graham crackers at home. Who knew science could be fun and yummy!

Seventh-grade science students dissected owl pellets earlier this week as they talked about the flow of energy through organisms.
