Yearbooks are here!!! We will be distributing them on June 18th from 10AM-4PM by the Powerhouse.
All cars should pull up to the Powerhouse and tell us the student’s name. We will deliver the yearbook to the car. No students or parents need to get out of their vehicle.
Don’t forget to come out today between 2:00-3:00 PM to wave goodbye to your teachers!
We know it hasn't been the easiest ending to a school year, and we want to wish all our students well as they head into summer break. Come out next Wednesday and let us send you off from a distance. Check out our attached plan. We can't wait to see you next Wednesday afternoon!
Parents and students- please read the attached message about returning items that belong to the school, cleaning out lockers, and more. Please call the school with questions.
We love our teachers at LCMS. I know for a fact that they miss you. As we start teacher appreciation week this week, show them how much you appreciate them by sending them an email. Tell them how much you enjoyed their class, remind them of a funny story from their class this year, or just say hello. I know they’d love to hear from you.
Lumpkin County Schools' Teacher of the Year Tori Jones going in the extra mile (literally) to reach her students during this time of distance and online learning! Thanks, Mrs. Jones! #TR1BE
Mrs. Jones had her STEAM students create a roller coaster during at home learning. Jayzen Johnson did awesome as his project had multiple roller coasters, the marble dropped into a vortex at the top, and randomly comes down one of the four ramps. He even added curves and loops!
TR1BE,

Great first day at Jekyll Island with the 7th Grade. The rain soaked our kids, but they didn’t let it slow them down. Thanks to Mr. Mayfield and Mrs. Walden for the photos.
They have worked very hard and we are proud of them! Thank you to the Lumpkin County Education Foundation for awarding a grant to 8th Grade GA Studies to fund the supplies for this project!!! (Part 2 of 2)
8th Grade Georgia Studies presented their Civil Rights Movement Crankie Project today in the Gold Mine. They were able to display their artistic, musical, and literary talents during this project. We had students sing, play instruments, and speak during the crankie. (Part 1 of 2)
