Mrs. Walden's class was doing a group reading of chapter 2 from The Outsiders. Students analyzed ways authors develop their characters by examining characters from The Outsiders including Ponyboy and Darry Curtis. The Outsiders is a classic and timeless story that kids still enjoy reading more than 50 years after its original publication.

The LCMS Cross Country team competed today in Fannin County. The boys finished 1st and girls finished 3rd. Six of our boys finished in the top ten and three of the girls finished in the Top 10 of their race. Great effort by all!!
