
Important Message from Lumpkin County Schools: Schools will be in session on Friday, March 13th for all staff and students, but schools will be closed for a minimum of one week beginning Monday, March 16th.


Last weekend, three LCMS students competed in the state competition and brought home 5th in the state. Great job Joseph, Nate, and Bryson!!

8th Grade Georgia Studies presented their Civil Rights Movement Crankie Project today in the Gold Mine. They were able to display their artistic, musical, and literary talents during this project. We had students sing, play instruments, and speak during the crankie. (Part 1 of 2)

Science Olympiad recently competed at Regionals and brought home medals for several events. Both teams did a great job and represented LCMS well. Congratulations!





The LCMS boys soccer team played their second game of the season tonight against Fannin County. We looked great in a very strong 10-0 victory.





The LCMS Lady Indians played their second soccer game of the year today against Fannin County. The girls played very well in a 10-0 victory.




The LCMS golf team opens their season today against Pickens and Gilmer. Go Indians!!



We're so proud of our FBLA students! Mattie Mullenix and Brianna Pahuyo performed live at the state conference in Critical Thinking where they placed 6th! And Jack Fox placed Third in BOTH of his events, Career Exploration and Business Concepts.

Parent Night Postponed!


The boys soccer followed up the girls with a win of their own against Dawson. Our boys won 4-0 in their first game of the season.




Soccer season finally got underway today. The girls started off the year with a 7-0 victory over Dawson County.




The deadline to register a team for the Adult Field Day AND get a shirt is February 10th! If you've been holding off, now is the time to get your registration in!




Another great day on the 8th grade field trip. More posts will come later about what we did today. Right now, we are about to load the Georgia Queen for our riverboat dinner cruise.
