LCHS students competing with Skills USA made LCHS very proud this week! Congratulations!

Problem solving, critical thinking, and learning to collaborate on a team are skills that every employer is looking for in today's workforce. Today, Ms. Lincoln's Human Resources class worked on their teamwork skills as they solved the task at hand despite built in challenges designed to help focus their critical thinking.

6 Students from LCHS were selected for the High School 9th District Honor Band. Auditions were extremely competitive and selective.
Honorees were (L to R): Piper Spraker (Clarinet), Luke Schofield (Alto Sax), Najja Hughey (Trombone and Euphonium), Ethan Fox (Horn), AJ Lee (Trombone), Owen Woody (Alto Sax- Not Pictured).
In addition: Luke, Najja, Ethan, AJ, and Owen will advance to the second round for All State Band and will be auditioning in February. Good Luck!

Attention Parents: It is time to make decisions about dual enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year! Contact Tonya.Corbett@lumpkinschools.com with any questions you might have!

In a school year with cancelled competitions, field trips, and student experiences, many of our organizations, sports, and clubs are learning how to adapt. Lumpkin FBLA led by Mrs. Amy Lincoln is no different. Not only are they adapting, but they are excelling! Congratulations!

Welcome Back LCHS!
