Spirit Week: Decades
Instead of taking notes the traditional way, 6th-grade Social Studies is getting out and finding the information they need to learn about the causes of World War I.

Three of our own LCMS cross country athletes competed in their first high school JV meet today. All three finished in the Top 5 of the boys division.
Wyatt finished 1st overall, Sam 2nd, and Jackson 5th in the JV meet!

Virtual students have been working on identifying symbolism in The Outsiders. Students created either a Hydroflask or hoodie that would symbolize their chosen character. Using evidence from the text, students gave an explanation of the symbols they chose for their characters.
The LCMS cross country team ends a great season tonight at the league championship. The boys ended the season as league champs!!!
Also, we had 4 boys medal and 1 girl medal. Great job to all of our XC Indians tonight.

Great job LCMS Cross Country. We had 8 of the Top 10 in the boys race and took home 1st Place.
We also had 3 of our girls finish in the Top 10 as they took home 2nd Place.

The LCMS 8th grade team beat Pickens tonight 36-6. Great job Indians!!
All sixth-grade social studies classes are taking a virtual trip to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone this week to learn about one of the environmental issues facing Europe.
Last night, the 8th graders on our middle school volleyball team played the last regular season game of their middle school career. Come to LCHS this Saturday to support all of these athletes in the end of season tournament.
The LCMS Football team beat Union County tonight 22-12. Go Indians!!
Eighth-grade math students did a discovery activity about perfect squares by forming them using Cheez-It crackers.
The LCMS softball team wins a thriller over White County tonight. The girls on both sides battled to extra innings, but the Lady Indians came out on top with a walk-off win 10-9. Great job Indians!!
